How Smartphone Door Access Works
Employees receive a digital access credential on their smartphone. To open a door, they tap the phone against the NFC reader — or scan a QR code. No physical card is required. The system logs every entry in real time.
Supported Access Methods
- NFC — tap phone to reader (all modern Android and iPhone)
- Apple Wallet — Express Mode: open door without unlocking phone
- Google Wallet — same convenience for Android users
- QR code — for older devices or as a backup method
- Bluetooth — hands-free entry for specific door types
Security
- Encrypted credentials — cannot be copied or shared
- Instant revocation — remove access in seconds from admin dashboard
- Per-user permissions — each employee has access only to doors they're authorized for
- Full entry log — every tap recorded with timestamp, employee, and door
- ISO 27001 — all data encrypted and securely stored
